Sherlock Holmes and The Other Detective - new release
When Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson return to London after a fortnight away, they are met with an unsettling mystery. Clients who sought their help have now withdrawn their requests, claiming another detective has solved their problems.
The newspapers are filled with praise for this new detective who is named as Mr Clarence O'Connell. According to reports, he has cracked cases that Holmes supposedly ignored. But something about O'Connell does not sit right with Holmes. Who is this man, and why does he seem determined to outshine the great detective?
As Holmes and Watson investigate further, they uncover a troubling pattern that suggests O'Connell is not merely solving cases but orchestrating something far more sinister. With Holmes' reputation hanging in the balance and a dangerous scheme unfolding, can he unmask the truth before his latest adversary succeeds in bringing them down?

The Unwanted Client
My latest release is out, Sherlock Holmes and The Unwanted Client. I came up with the title before the plot, which is the opposite of how I normally work. But when the title came to me, I wondered who would be the worst kind of client for Sherlock Holmes? Knowing how he feels about all things supernatural, I thought a fortune teller would be the perfect person! As you'd expect, Holmes is initially unhappy about this potential client.
Enigmatic fortune-teller Toby Knight visits 221B Baker Street seeking help with a sinister dilemma.
Holmes, a staunch sceptic of all things mystical, dismisses Knight as a charlatan who preys on the gullible and demands that Knight leave immediately
.Watson, moved by the fortune-teller’s distress, asks him to stay and reveal more about the issue concerning him.
Knight does so, confessing that some of his predictions have been eerily accurate, but with disastrous consequences for his clients, who then blamed Knight for their misfortunes.
Despite his misgivings, Holmes is intrigued by the details given by Knight and agrees to investigate the matter.
As the case unfolds, it becomes clear that someone is sabotaging Knight’s livelihood, and that more than one person would like to see Knight fail. But who?
Holmes’ sharp mind soon uncovers deceit and misdirection, which leads him to wonder if the prime suspect might just be the victim himself.

New release - Sherlock Holmes and The Cat Burglar
I have just released a new book: Sherlock Holmes and The Cat Burglar. I wrote it during a mini heatwave that we had here in England, which mirrors an element in this new story. Of course, it's raining as I write this! But at least it's warm rain.
I'll put links to some of the Amazon stores below the image.
I've started writing the next mystery for Holmes and Watson and should have that published soon.
In the sweltering heat of a London summer, Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson find themselves embroiled in a baffling series of thefts. Valuable items are being stolen from the homes of the city’s elite without any signs of forced entry to the buildings. It’s as if the items have simply vanished into thin air.
Holmes and Watson soon notice a pattern in the thefts; a pattern that points to the incidents being an inside job. But how are they to prove their theory?
But as the heatwave continues across London, and the thefts increase, Holmes is struck by a new revelation about the crimes. He realises their thief is more cunning than he first suspected, and to catch them, he and Watson will have to be one step ahead of their crafty opponent.

My Sherlock Holmes
I'm an avid fan of Sherlock Holmes and the adventures he has with Dr Watson. When I began to write my own stories about them, I decided to write in the third person rather than from Dr Watson's viewpoint. This is a more natural way of writing for me. Also, I have not included any murders and have concentrated on mysteries of a less grisly nature. Again, this is a personal preference and I realise that not everyone will appreciate my version of Sherlock Holmes. But I think everyone has their own version of Sherlock Holmes and how he appears in their imaginations. My stories reflect how I see him.
